Ingredients
- 2 pkg. chili seasoning mix (French's or McCormick)
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can pintos (undrained; without pork)
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 qt. or 2 large cans tomatoes, pureed
- Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. water
Method
- Cook ground beef, onion and a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce in a skillet until beef is brown.
- Drain beef on paper towels.
- Meanwhile, pour tomatoes, pintos and 1 package of seasoning into a large pot and start to cook.
- Put beef back into skillet and mix with the other package of seasoning and water. Simmer 5 minutes and then add to pot.
- Mix together well.
- Cook 30 minutes to 2 hours.
