Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts, boned and split
  • 12 to 16 tiny white onions
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/8 c. sherry wine
  • 1 soup can milk
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
  • salt
  • pepper

Method

  • Place chicken in rectangular baking dish.
  • Add onions.
  • Mix soup, milk and sherry.
  • Pour over chicken.
  • Grate cheese over top. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • When ready, place in 350° oven, covered, for 45 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake 35 to 45 minutes longer. This recipe is expandable, depending upon the size of the crowd.
