Ingredients
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 large green peppers, sliced
- 1 c. chopped mushrooms (optional)
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- 2 pkg. au jus gravy mix (dry)
- 2 lb. or more sirloin tips
- water
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- noodles or rice
Method
- Place sirloin tips in bottom of pan.
- Add onion, peppers, mushrooms, stewed tomatoes and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Spread the packages of gravy mix over ingredients to cover.
- Drop in the beef bouillon cubes.
- Add water to the point where the beef is covered.
- Stir all ingredients occasionally as they cook.
- Bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Place beef dish over noodles or rice.
