Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
Method
- Make cake mix as directed on box.
- Set aside.
- Layer coconut on bottom of greased pan.
- Cover coconut with pecans and pour cake mixture over this.
- In large bowl, mix powdered sugar, cream cheese and margarine until smooth.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto cake batter.
- Bake at 300° for 1 hour or until cake springs back or until done.
