Ingredients

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box white
  • yellow cake mix
  • 1-1/2 stick butter
  • margarine

Method

  • Mix cherries and pineapple in a 9x13-inch pan.
  • Make sure pan is not greased or floured.
  • Pour dry cake mix over filling and spread to completely cover.
  • Slice butter lengthwise in thin slices to cover the top of the cake mix.
  • Put in oven to 350F.
  • When butter is melted make sure dry cake mix is covered so it will turn the cake mix into crust.
  • Cook until golden brown and enjoy.
