Ingredients

  • 1 c. uncooked white rice
  • 1/2 c. uncooked brown rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. A.1. sauce
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1 soup can cold water (slightly more if needed)
  • 1 garlic clove, mashed
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (3 1/2 to 4 lb.) cut up fryer chicken
  • paprika for sprinkling
  • salt and pepper

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Spray 13 x 9-inch pan with Pam.
  • Mix 1st eleven ingredients together in large bowl.
  • Pour in baking pan.
  • Press chicken into mixture.
  • Sprinkle top with paprika. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Do not open cover (not even to peek) during baking.
