Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. white Karo
- 1 pkg. cherry Jell-O (any flavor)
- 1 1/2 c. nuts or coconut
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 egg whites
Method
- Cook sugar, Karo and water to hard ball stage.
- In mixing bowl, beat egg whites until they fluff up, then gradually add Jell-O, beating until it stands in soft peaks.
- Gradually add sugar mixture to egg whites and beat until candy loses its gloss and stands in peaks.
- Add nuts and drop from a teaspoon on wax paper.
