Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. cooking oil
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. corn flakes

Method

  • Cream together sugars, cooking oil, vanilla and eggs.
  • Add flour, soda and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Fold in oats, then corn flakes. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350° for 7 to 8 minutes, or until lightly brown.
  • Use a very large bowl.
  • These cookies freeze well.
  • May add 1 small package peanut butter chips. Makes 8 or 9 dozen cookies.
