Ingredients
- 1 gal. beans
- 5 c. water
- 5 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salt
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper
Method
- Cover beans with water and boil 15 minutes.
- In separate pot, bring water, vinegar, salt, mustard seed and red pepper to a boil. Pack beans into jar, cucumber-fashion.
- Put a small piece of dill weed and 1 small clove of garlic in each jar.
- Fill jar with the hot mixture and seal.
- Put in hot water bath for 10 minutes.
