Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 tsp. prepared mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. Equal sugar substitute
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil

Method

  • In small saucepan, combine first 8 ingredients and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
  • Stir every 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Remove from stove; add sugar substitute and mix well.
  • This will keep in refrigerator several weeks.
  • This recipe makes 8 (2 tablespoon) servings.
  • Each serving is 32 calories, 1/2 vegetable and fat exchange.
  • Use for chicken or any kind of meat.
