Ingredients
- 3 to 4 slices bacon
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. margarine or bacon grease
- 1 qt. beans (cooked or canned)
Method
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
- Beat egg slightly in saucepan.
- Add sugar, vinegar and grease.
- Heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Heat beans thoroughly.
- Pour sauce over beans.
- Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
