Ingredients

  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 5 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. soda

Method

  • Mix together powdered sugar, white sugar, oil, oleo, butter flavoring and vanilla.
  • Add flour, salt, cream of tartar and soda. Mix well.
  • Chill overnight or several hours.
  • Roll into walnut size balls and dip top in sugar.
  • Flatten out on ungreased cookie sheet with water glass.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.
