Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. chopped dates
Method
- Combine sugar, milk and butter in a saucepan; cook to soft ball stage.
- Add dates and nuts.
- Continue cooking until dates are dissolved or until small amount forms a small, firm ball in cold water.
- Pour out on a damp cloth and shape into a 2-inch roll. Chill in refrigerator until firm and slice
- in 1/2-inch slices.
