- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 14 teaspoon ginger
- 14 teaspoon clove
- 14 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups flour
- 14 cup flour, for rolling dough
Method
- Cream together Margarine and Sugar.
- Add eggs.
- Mix flour and all spices together in a large bowl.
- Gradually add flour mixture to sugar mixture.
- Dough will be very stiff.
- Refrigerate 30 minutes til firm.
- Roll dough into thin rolls about the size of a pencil.
- Cut into small pieces.
- Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
