- 1 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
- 2 c. beef broth
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can French-style or whole green beans, drained
Method
- Cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to crumble.
- Drain off pan drippings.
- Stir in onion and next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil.
- Cover; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is done.
- Add green beans and cook just until beans are heated.
- Serve immediately.
