Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
  • 2 c. beef broth
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can French-style or whole green beans, drained

Method

  • Cook beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to crumble.
  • Drain off pan drippings.
  • Stir in onion and next 5 ingredients; bring to a boil.
  • Cover; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is done.
  • Add green beans and cook just until beans are heated.
  • Serve immediately.
