Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 6 beef cube steaks
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 envelope brown gravy mix
  • 1 envelope mushroom gravy mix
  • 1 envelope onion gravy mix

Method

  • Place flour in a plastic bag.
  • Add the steaks, a few at a time, and toss to coat. In skillet, cook the steaks in oil until lightly browned on each side. Place browned steaks in casserole dish. Add onion. In bowl, whisk water and gravy mixes together. Add to casserole dish. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes. Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.
