Ingredients
- 2 broiler-fryer chickens, cut in serving size pieces
- 2 tsp. Accent
- 2/3 c. buttermilk
- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper (white)
- 1/2 tsp. paprika oil
Method
- Wash and dry chicken.
- Sprinkle in Accent and let stand 15 minutes.
- Pour milk into bowl.
- Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
- Dip chicken pieces in milk; roll in flour mixture.
- Pour oil in skillet to a depth of 1/2-inch.
- Heat until a drop of water sizzles in oil.
- Fry chicken, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes on each side, turning only once.
- Drain well on absorbent paper.
