Ingredients

  • 2 broiler-fryer chickens, cut in serving size pieces
  • 2 tsp. Accent
  • 2/3 c. buttermilk
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper (white)
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika oil

Method

  • Wash and dry chicken.
  • Sprinkle in Accent and let stand 15 minutes.
  • Pour milk into bowl.
  • Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper.
  • Dip chicken pieces in milk; roll in flour mixture.
  • Pour oil in skillet to a depth of 1/2-inch.
  • Heat until a drop of water sizzles in oil.
  • Fry chicken, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes on each side, turning only once.
  • Drain well on absorbent paper.
