Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese, divided
  • 1/2 c. sliced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. dill weed
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 6 to 7 c. peeled, thinly sliced, cooked potatoes
  • bread crumbs

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • In a small bowl, toss together 1 cup Swiss cheese, onions and dill; set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and salt.
  • Gradually stir in milk.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
