- 4 oz. bacon, diced
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 (15 oz.) can creamed corn
- 1 tsp. paprika
- salt to taste
- 1 c. onion
- 2 Tbsp. bacon dripping
- 2 c. potatoes, diced
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. milk or condensed milk
Method
- Brown bacon in Dutch oven and drain, reserving 2 tablespoons of drippings.
- Saute onion and green pepper in drippings until soft. Add chicken broth and diced potatoes.
- Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are cooked.
- Add creamed corn, seasonings, bacon and milk.
- Heat through.
