Ingredients

  • 1 (18 ounce) packagedouble fudge brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 13 cup water
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 12 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 12 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Grease bottom of 9x13 baking pan.
  • For brownies, combine brownie mix, contents of the fudge packet from mix, eggs, water and oil in a large bowl.
  • Stir with spoon until well blended, about 50 strokes.
  • Stir in pecans.
  • Spread evenly in pan.
  • For topping, beat cream cheese in a large bowl at medium speed with electric mixer until smooth.
  • Beat in eggs, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Spread evenly over brownie mixture.
  • Bake 45-60 minutes or until edges and top are golden brown and shiny.
  • Cool completely.
  • Refrigerate until well chilled.
  • Cut into bars.
