Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. flour
- 4 eggs
Method
- Melt butter in boiling water.
- Add the flour and salt, stirring vigorously.
- Cook, continuing to stir, until the mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate when handled.
- Remove mixture from heat and cool slightly.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
- Beat until mixture is smooth and free from all lumps.
- Drop from tablespoon onto greased baking sheet, 2-inches apart.
- Bake in hot oven (450°) for 15 minutes, then at 325° for 25 minutes.
- Remove puffs from baking sheet, cool and fill with pudding.
- Cut hole in side or top.
- Can top with chocolate.
