Ingredients
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 tsp. lemon extract
Method
- Beat butter and cheese at medium speed for approximately 2 minutes.
- Gradually beat at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.
- Combine flour and soda.
- Gradually add to creamed mixture.
- Mix at lowest speed just until blended after each addition.
- Stir in flavorings. Spoon batter into greased and floured 13-cup Bundt pan.
- Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Check with toothpick.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
