Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef Or Ground Turkey
  • 1 package (about 1 Oz. Packet) Lawry's Taco Seasoning
  • 16 ounces, weight Cream Cheese
  • 12 whole Flour Tortillas (Soft Taco Size)
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 16 ounces, fluid Enchilada Sauce

Method

  • Prepare ground beef and taco seasoning according to package instructions.
  • Spread 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese onto 6 tortillas, fold each tortilla in half.
  • Fill remainder of tortillas with 3 tablespoons ground beef, sprinkle cheddar cheese and fold in half.
  • In a 13x9 casserole dish, spread 1/4 cup enchilada sauce.
  • Place 4 tortillas in a single layer, alternating cheese tortillas and beef tortillas.
  • Spread 1/4 cup enchilada sauce over the first layer and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  • Repeat layers, being careful to alternate tortillas on each layer.
  • Pour remaining enchilada sauce and top with cheddar cheese.
  • Cover with foil, bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until heated through and sauce is bubbling.
