Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. franks, cut on the diagonal in 1/4-inch slices
  • 1 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 2 large green peppers, cut in bite size pieces
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 can chile sauce or tomato sauce

Method

  • In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, cook frank slices until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove to bowl.
  • In same skillet over medium heat in hot salad oil cook peppers and onions, oregano, salt and pepper until tender, stirring frequently.
  • Add franks and tomato sauce.
  • Toss gently together; heat through.
