Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. franks, cut on the diagonal in 1/4-inch slices
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 2 large green peppers, cut in bite size pieces
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 can chile sauce or tomato sauce
Method
- In a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, cook frank slices until lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
- Remove to bowl.
- In same skillet over medium heat in hot salad oil cook peppers and onions, oregano, salt and pepper until tender, stirring frequently.
- Add franks and tomato sauce.
- Toss gently together; heat through.
