- 2 c. cornbread crumbs
- 4 c. biscuit crumbs
- 2 1/2 c. turkey broth
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. sage
- 2 stalks celery
- salt and pepper
Method
- Crumble bread together in a pan and bake at 300° until dry and golden brown.
- Stir often.
- Once dry, add butter, eggs, baking powder, salt, pepper, celery and onion.
- Add sage to taste.
- Add hot broth and mix well.
- Bake in greased pan at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
