Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter (not margarine)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 8 oz. bag of baked corn pops

Method

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Place corn pops in a large roasting pan. Bring butter, brown sugar and white corn syrup to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Add 1 t. baking soda to mixture and stir well. This will cause mixture to foam so a 2 qt. sauce pan is necessary. Remove from heat. Pour mixture over corn pops and stir to coat. Bake for 45 minutes, every 15 minutes stir to coat evenly. Cool on wax paper. Break apart.
