Ingredients
- 1 hen or fryer
- 1 (9 x 13 x 2-inch) pan corn bread
- 1/4 lb. crackers
- 4 eggs, boiled and chopped up
- 2 c. green onions
- 2 c. celery
- 1 c. green bell peppers
Method
- Boil chicken until tender.
- After chicken is boiled and tender, take the skin off and debone the chicken; save broth.
- Mix corn bread and crackers and boil eggs; chop and add to corn bread and crackers.
- Saute onion, celery and peppers and add to corn bread mixture.
- Now mix altogether with broth.
- Add enough water to make juicy.
- You don't want it dry.
- Bake at 400° until brown on top.
