Ingredients
- 1/2 cups Butter Flavored Shortening
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cream Of Tartar
- 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- Strawberries
- Whipped Cream
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Cream the shortening and sugar together. Mix in the eggs. Then mix in the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- Place in a greased 9 inch pie or cake pan. Cook at 400 for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve with your favorite berries and/or whipped cream.
