Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. cola drink
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Method
- Sift flour and sugar together.
- Heat margarine, cocoa and cola; pour over flour mixture.
- Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, vanilla and salt, blending thoroughly.
- Add marshmallows.
- Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Batter will be thick and marshmallows will float on top of dough.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Pour icing over hot cake.
