- 4 (10 oz.) pkg. Birds Eye broccoli
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1/3 c. sherry (optional)
- 5 whole chicken breasts, cooked and skinned
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of nutmeg
Method
- Cook broccoli as directed on package; drain.
- Place in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Melt butter, blend in flour.
- Add broth. Cook and stir until thickened.
- Stir in sherry, salt and nutmeg. Keep warm.
