Ingredients

  • 4 (10 oz.) pkg. Birds Eye broccoli
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
  • 3 c. chicken broth
  • 1/3 c. sherry (optional)
  • 5 whole chicken breasts, cooked and skinned
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of nutmeg

Method

  • Cook broccoli as directed on package; drain.
  • Place in 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Melt butter, blend in flour.
  • Add broth. Cook and stir until thickened.
  • Stir in sherry, salt and nutmeg. Keep warm.
