Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Method
- Place one package Lipton soup on heavy-duty aluminum foil.
- On this, place chuck roast; salt lightly.
- On top of roast, add soup (two cans may be used for more gravy).
- Fold foil over tightly; bake at 300° for one hour per pound.
- (Never cook under 3 hours.) When roast is done, gravy is made.
