Ingredients
- 1 egg white
- 1 Tbsp. cold water
- 1 lb. nuts (pecans or walnuts)
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Method
- Beat egg white with cold water; beat until foamy.
- Stir in nuts and mix well until nuts are completely coated.
- Mix in bowl the brown and white sugars, nutmeg, salt and cinnamon.
- Pour over nut mixture and stir until nuts are covered.
- Pour on cookie sheet and bake 1 hour at 250°.
- Stir 3 or 4 times while baking.
