Ingredients
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg, unbeaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Cream
- margarine
- to
- consistency
- of
- mayo.
- Add sugar while continuing to cream.
- Add vanilla and eggs.
- Beat until light. Add
- flour,
- baking
- powder and salt; blend in.
- Chill several hours or until firm enough to roll.
- Cut out.
- Bake at 325° for 10 to 12 minutes (do not overbake).
