Ingredients
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk (1 2/3 c.)
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine ingredients; cook over medium heat until smooth and thick, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Chill.
- Makes about 1 pint.
- It takes quite a long time to cook.
