Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine flour, cocoa, sugar and salt.
- Place in heavy skillet. Beat egg yolks and gradually add the milk which has been slightly warmed.
- Add to flour mixture.
- Mix thoroughly and cook over medium-low temperature until thickened.
- Stir to prevent sticking. Cool and pour into prepared pie shell.
- Top with meringue and slightly brown in 350° oven for about 12 minutes.
