Ingredients

  • 2 sticks softened margarine
  • 1 1/2 boxes (5 c.) powdered sugar
  • 18 oz. creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/3 sq. Gulf Tone wax
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 2/3 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 or 3 Tbsp. butter, dotted over pie

Method

  • Put on top crust (slitting several times for steam escape). Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
  • Reduce heat to 350° and bake 45 minutes longer.
