Ingredients

  • 1 large pkg. chocolate pudding mix
  • 3/4 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine, softened
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 (9 oz.) carton whipped topping
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Ingredients will be layered in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Prepare pudding mix by package directions and set aside.
  • First Layer:
  • Mix nuts, flour and margarine, then pat into bottom of lightly oiled pan.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes; cool.
