Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks margarine
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows
Method
- Cream the margarine, cocoa and sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time; beat well.
- Add flour, nuts and vanilla.
- Mix by hand.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.
- Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
- As soon as cake comes out of oven, cover with marshmallows.
- Let melt for about 5 minutes.
- Spread icing on cake.
