Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. miniature marshmallows

Method

  • Cream the margarine, cocoa and sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time; beat well.
  • Add flour, nuts and vanilla.
  • Mix by hand.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch greased and floured pan.
  • Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • As soon as cake comes out of oven, cover with marshmallows.
  • Let melt for about 5 minutes.
  • Spread icing on cake.
