Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c. vegetable shortening
  • 1 bag of sm. twisted pretzels

Method

  • Mix over warm water, not boiling chocolate chips and vegetable shortening; stir till chips heat and turn smooth.
  • Remove from heat but keep chocolate over warm water.
  • Dip pretzels into chocolate mix and coat proportionately; shake off any excess coating.
  • Place pretzels on waxed paper lined cookie sheets.
  • Refrigeratein refrigerator till coating sets.
  • Serves or possibly store in refrigerator.
  • Makes approximately 50 pretzels.
