Ingredients

  • 1 pound Candy Coated Chocolate
  • 1 package (16.6 Oz. Size) Double Stuffed Oreos
  • 1 whole Sheet Chocolate Transfer Paper

Method

  • You will also need waxed paper, cookie molds (6), and round cookie cutters.
  • Melt half of the chocolate in the microwave according to package instructions. If you don't want to melt it in the microwave, you may choose to heat the chocolate in a double boiler. Just make sure you heat the chocolate to make it melt and not overcook it, or it will sieze.
  • Place chocolate mixture into each cookie mold, filling it halfway. Place an Oreo on top of the chocolate and press down so that it is even with the top of the mold. Cover and top with more chocolate so that the Oreos are completely covered. Shake the mold to remove all air bubbles. Then scrape off the extra chocolate on the mold with a spatula.
  • Place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • Now get the chocolate transfer paper and cut off the amount that you will need for the Oreos. Spread some melted chocolate over the paper so that is thin and even; don't spread too much or it will move the design on the paper. Let it stand for 5 minutes and then make circles with a cookie cutter.
  • When you have cut out all the holes from of the chocolate, turn the chocolate over and let it sit so that the chocolate is dry. That makes it easier to get the holes out of the big sheet of chocolate.
  • Get the Oreos out of the refrigerator and pop them out of the mold. Top with a drop of melted chocolate and top with the designed chocolate circle.
  • Note: If you have any chocolate sticking around the base layer, you can remove it with a butter knife.
