Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) margarine
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
  • 2 c. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1 3/4 c. (10 oz.) Skor toffee bits, divided

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
  • In large bowl, stir together the flour and brown sugar.
  • Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add egg; mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
  • Reserve 1 1/2 cups mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture onto bottom of prepared pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
