Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • Beat butter until creamy.
  • Gradually add brown sugar, pudding mix and sugar (beating well).
  • Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour and soda and gradually add to butter mixture, mixing well.
  • Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans.
  • Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for eight to ten minutes.
