Ingredients
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In small bowl, cream the butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine sugar and flour; add to creamed mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into unbaked pie shell.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool about 1 hour; serve warm.
