Ingredients
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. dry cocoa
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. Wesson oil plus 2 Tbsp.
- 1/2 c. nuts, chopped (if desired)
Method
- Sift all dry ingredients into large bowl.
- Add eggs, vanilla and Wesson oil.
- Beat well, either by hand or with mixer.
- Add nuts.
- Pour into an oiled 9 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350° for about 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when testing.
- They should be soft and moist.
