Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. steak
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 green peppers, sliced
  • 2 lg. onions, sliced
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 4 green onions, diced

Method

  • Cut steak into 1/8 inch thick strips.
  • Heat oil.
  • Add in garlic salt, ginger, and pepper.
  • Saute/fry till garlic is golden brown.
  • Add in steak brown lightly 2 min.
  • Remove meat.
  • Add in green peppers, onions.
  • Cook on medium high 4 to 5 min.
  • Return meat to pan.
  • Add in soy sauce, sugar, bouillon, cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. cool water.
  • Simmer about 2 min till sauce thickens.
  • Add in green onions.
  • Serve over warm rice.
