Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. rice (not Minute Rice)
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, optional
  • 1 can Chinese noodles

Method

  • Brown ground beef. Drain.
  • Mix mushroom soup and chicken soup with water.
  • Combine browned ground beef, soup/water mixture, onion, rice, celery, soy sauce and mushrooms.
  • Place in buttered 2-quart baking dish.
  • Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • Sprinkle Chinese noodles on top and bake uncovered for an additional 20 to 25 minutes.
