- 1 peck tomatoes (32 c.)
- 1 red pepper
- 3 green peppers
- 1 c. celery
- 12 small onions, peeled
- 1 tsp. cloves
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper (optional)
- dash of black pepper
- 5 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. vinegar
Method
- Cook tomatoes down.
- Add vegetables (chopped) and seasonings. Cook about 2 hours more.
- Makes 8 to 10 pints.
