Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken breast, skinned and cut into 3/4-inch cubes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 3/4 c. picante sauce
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 c. uncooked pasta

Method

  • Cook chicken, onions and garlic in the oil in large saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add remaining ingredients except pasta.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Stir in pasta.
  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer until pasta is tender, about 12 minutes.
  • Makes 8 cups.
