Ingredients

  • Progresso Italian bread crumbs
  • 4 chicken breast halves, skinless, boneless
  • 1 slightly beaten egg
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • dash of onion salt
  • 4 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Dip chicken in egg, then crumbs.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 minutes. Turn chicken; bake 15 minutes more or until tender.
  • Meanwhile, combine tomato sauce, oregano, sugar and onion salt.
  • Heat to boiling, stirring frequently.
  • Pour sauce over meat.
  • Top with cheese.
  • Return to oven to melt cheese.
  • Serves 4.
