Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c. olive oil
  • 15 1/2 oz. Prego spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 8 slices or 5 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Flatten chicken with meat mallet to 1/4-inch thickness. Flour breasts,

  • egg, then bread crumbs.
  • Cook chicken in
  • oil on medium-high heat until well browned on both sides; be sure

  • Pour spaghetti sauce into baking dish and
  • place chicken on sauce and top with Parmesan cheese.
  • (Dish can be prepared one day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.) Bake
